Laser Vein Therapy

We treat small superficial veins with a long-pulse YAG 1064 nm laser. This laser has a super-cooled tip that cools the skin to minimize discomfort during the very quick procedure.

The pictures on this page are examples of the veins we treat with this laser. Results vary, and new superficial veins can still develop over time. When you get this laser treatment, we will discuss some ways to help prevent other parts of your legs from developing more of these veins.

There is no downtime with this laser. Another common treatment for these veins is sclerotherapy, which involves injecting a very small amount of a solution into the vein. We do not offer sclerotherapy; we treat these veins with the laser, and we are happy to talk with you about the differences at your consultation.
