Dr. Christopher Starnes, MD, FACP, is a co-founder of Cutting Edge Dermatology in Wise, Virginia. He opened the practice in 2011 with his wife, Dr. Autumn Starnes, and the two continue to run it together, caring for patients from across Southwest Virginia and the surrounding region.
A first-generation college graduate, Dr. Starnes earned his B.S. in Biology from Clinch Valley College (now the University of Virginia's College at Wise) in 1998 and his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in 2002. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of South Carolina in 2005. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP).
