The picture shown here depicts hyaluronic acid (HA). Many products we put on our skin contain this compound. It is the same base chemical we find in fillers.

By injecting HA under the epidermis, into the level of the dermis, these compounds can have effects that last up to one year. If you are considering getting fillers elsewhere, be sure to ask how many people they have treated in their training, or what they will do if something goes wrong.
